Doug Li, Fitness Manager: After an extremely successful run as our lead trainer in the evening, Doug was awarded with the responsibility of our Fitness Manager! Doug is a native of the Bay Area and graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Tired of being overweight (at one point he weighed 250lbs!), Doug joined an SDSU Rugby squad, as a walk on, that reached the National Championship Tournament two years in a row. During that time, he sustained multiple injuries, four of which led to surgery to repair torn ligaments. These injuries peaked Doug’s interest in health, wellness, and human performance. Doug then joined the SDSU Cycling team and raced during the last year of his college. Since then, he has worked as an athletic trainer, physical therapy aid, strength coach, and personal trainer. Doug holds the title Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) and is also SPINNING certified.
